The State Attorney’s Office offers the following benefits to all regular full- and part-time employees:

- Health Insurance – the health insurance benefits are executed in two ways:
1) For Attorneys: PPO/HMO Options, referral is not required for either plan, Individual Coverage = $8/month, Family Coverage = $30/month, Spousal Program = $30/month
2) For Professional & Support Staff: PPO/HMO Options, referral is not required for either plan, Individual Coverage = $50/month, Family Coverage = $180/month, Spousal Program = $30/month - Pharmacy Coverage – $7/Generic Prescriptions, $30-$50 Brand Name Prescriptions (preferred/non-preferred)
- Life Insurance – Full-time employee coverage is free = $25,000 value, Dependent Spouse Coverage = $15,000 – $20,000 benefit paid by employee per month post taxed, Dependent Child Coverage = $10,000 benefit paid by employee per month post taxed
- Supplemental Insurance Plans – Various Dental Plans, Vision Plan, Accident Plan, Cancer Plan, Disability Plans, Hospital Intensive Care Plans, and Hospitalization Plans

- Paid Holidays – 9 Paid State Holidays, Monthly accrued vacation days of 8 hours and 40 minutes totals 13 days in one year
- Florida State Retirement System – Employees are required to contribute 3% of their gross salary, Traditional Pension Plan, Investment Plan
- Tuition Waiver Program at State College/Universities – Up to 6 credits per semester are waived (eligible colleges include: Miami-Dade College, Florida International University, Broward College, Florida Atlantic University)
